Adam C. Bordes

Senior Policy Advisor

Adam C. Bordes is a seasoned public policy professional with nearly two decades of experience in both Congress and the private sector. His background includes having worked on legislative and regulatory issues in the areas of national and homeland security, government operations, technology and privacy, health care, and education. In addition to his policy expertise, Adam has significant experience with congressional oversight and investigative matters involving civilian and military programs.
Adam's congressional experience includes having served as a staff member with both Member and committee offices during his decade of service in the U.S. House of Representatives. As a legislative aide to Representatives Louis Stokes (D-OH) and William L. "Bill" Clay, Sr. (D-M0), he focused on domestic policy issues and appropriations for federal and state programs in the areas of health care, education, housing, and medical research. Adam later served as a Professional Staff Member and Senior Policy Advisor with the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he directed legislative and oversight activities for multiple subcommittees under the leadership of former Chairmen Henry Waxman (D-CA) and Edolphus Towns (D-NY).
In addition to his tenure on Capitol Hill, Adam has worked as a policy analyst within the U.S. Department of Defense for Booz Allen HamiIton and as a government relations consultant on behalf of hospitals and health care interests. He also served as a member of the Center for Strategic & International Studies Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency.
A New England native, Adam remains active in Democratic political campaigns and as a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of both Providence College and American University.
